I've learned more about Julian Eccles' runabout and I've written the Bulb Horn for a copy of Vol 14 in readable some form. The article was by Smith Hempstone Oliver d.2006, who did an updated version in the Mar 1958 edition of Road & Track. I ordered a copy on eBay. I talked to Chip Hellie, son of Bill Hellie, who owned the car before Julian, giving his brand new Mercury Monterey for it in 1953, then selling it 6 months later to Buzz Cheffings, Salem Hudson dealer for $1200.Somehow it got into the hands of John Breskovich of LA and then to Julian.
