I remember a thread where there was a question on how the engine kickdown kill circuit was handled with the Pertronix. Seems like a relay was needed or at least suggested. Don't remember the outcome or if a schematic of the install was ever posted. Was that your car and if so, how is the kickdown handled? Is there any chance something in that kickdown wiring is killing the unit when you take off from a light?
