I am converting to 12V, mainly for the ease of adapting accessories, like modern A/C compressor (original is missing) and electric power windows, which my car does not (hydraulic) have. I have a McCulloch blower I found on E-bay and am collecting parts to eventually supercharge the motor. Modifications are being made without compromising the car so things can be reversed at a later date." and Turbopackman, Eric, should be able to pass on some advice on your concept.

Under VEHICLE HISTORY/PROJECT STATUS: is the entry "Purchased in Jan. 2010, we call this the "Packard Project," whereby our non-profit, www.thepackardinstitute.com will task troubled kids to work under adult mentors in restoring this vehicle. Parked in the 80s, when used as a daily driver. Garage stored and idle since. We are in Akron, OH and would appreciate any feedback and/or consulting on this project.
