My pump has hose connections, and not threaded connections. None of the metal tubing is barbed. Just hose slipped over the end, no clamps or clips either.
Here are a couple of pics when I first started taking the car apart. You can see the lines and rubber hoses. I don't have any post assemble pics of the vacuum lines. But the hard line on the firewall is held in place with the smaller line clamp screwed into the firewall. If needed I can take some some pics of what it looks like on my car now.

I did find a couple pics I took since reassembly: This shows all the connection points and the firewall hard line.
Hope this helps.

I think the part you are talking about on the pump is a dome shaped item. If so, it is nothing more than an air chamber to calm the pulsations of the pump a bit--just like some houses have in the plumbing to control a water hammer problem. I don't believe it is on all pumps.

Thanks HH56. I guess my connections are still OEM on the pump then. Today I finished wire brushing the radiator support and radiator. Wow, the brass looks really cool on it. Reminds me of the brass era for cars. First time I have seen a radiator with paint removed. Gave everything a coat of phosphoric acid to dry overnight. Hopefully I will have both primed and painted tomorrow.

Just a quick update. I haven't had much car time over the last couple of weeks. I'm not complaining either. I think I am burning myself out on this car. I did manage to get the radiator support and radiator painted. Just put a light coat over the radiator fins. Actually, it was so light that it only made it a little darker, not all black. I don't want to risk making the radiator less efficient. Also got the radiator support bolted back in the car.

Got some stuff done today. I media blasted the manifold hardware and the clamp that holds the vacuum line to the block. I also redid my generator bracket because the paint did not seem like it was holding up very well. Repainted the bracket, manifold hardware, vacuum line clamp and my dimmer switch. I actually forgot about the switch. It has been sitting in my media cabinet for about a month. I also painted the heater box and air vent assembly under it. I just did a quick job. Just so it looks a little better. Not sure when I will take it off the firewall and do it properly. I cleaned up my fuel pump some. I went to order a rebuild kit for it, but the guy said he needed the number off of it. I think I found it. I see AC RPD. Hope that is it. Slowly but surely....

That sounds like a rebuild or remanufactured number. The number I think they are looking for should be something on the mounting flange face or maybe edge -- or could be around the casting edges where the halves bolt together -- something along the lines of 9606 or 9920 or ????.

Charles, twenty years ago I helped a women whose Cadillac Brougham broke down on the highway. She has been a bit corpulently hence I don't remember her name but the carb was labeled with Rochester Products Division. Your fuel pump was probably made by Rochester.
Edit: "AC" could stand for "Albert Champion", another GM division and known for AC spark plugs. AC was wedded to RPD.

Don't know if it helpful to identify your pump but to allege an example two inscriptions on a RPD fuel pump, installed in a 1945 CJ-2A Jeep.
The first link leads you to the casting number of the sample RPD pump that reads: AC RPD R1528089. Number two shows how to find another mark - probably the year of manufacture. [source: www.cj-2a.com]
