Thanks spud.

Didn't think of loctite..

Drilled tapped jb Weld. Post tighten up.

So hopefully with air cleaner on it will hold.

Ignition trouble again

Moving coil off intake.

Then. Pertronics is confusing.

They say you can keep ballast. Then with their coil. Take it out.

So leaving pink Packard wire out. Jumping 12 volt from Ignition.

Talking with hh56 pretty sure my issue is the ballast..

After start up Pertronics is only getting 6 or 8 volts.

Edit..

Don't know ohms of delco coil.

You definitely don’t want the ballast with Pertronics! It’s bypassed for starting but as soon as you’re running, it kicks in to lower the voltage to the coil which is why I always use their coil. I had thought of taking an old ballast and modifying it to look stock so as to be bypassed where the wiring could be kept intact but I’ve not yet tried it.

Replaced in car.

Don't know what I did with 2 pole.

But found these 3 pole spdt ones. I had

Ground off 3rd pole.. the throw isn't as pronounced as other switch.

But it works.

Of coarse. The switch I removed. Works when it's out. Something is up with it.
