Thank you so much for that fix! It would be great if people learned to use the Link button (icon) but this is a good workaround.

Question, which is not really a problem as much as it is a curiosity. For quite a long time now (since the last major xoops update anyway), sometimes clicking the folder icon showing new postings in a thread takes me to the first post on page 1 or sometimes it takes me many posts back from the end. In other words, it does not always go to the latest unread post. I do at least open all new posts and keep up to date so it's not a matter of having missed any.

I just noticed some Vehicle Registry entries where each paragraph in the Vehicle History section begins with a name/a times new roman?? and the paragraphs are spaced very far apart so maybe more hidden code between.

I simply meant that when the icon shows unread posts and going to it by whatever is cliched to get there, it usually takes me to the latest but there are almost as many times were it takes me to the beginning or somewhere in the middle.

Kev, you should add this section to the 55-56 part plates, as this is the axle that was used in the 55 cars even though they did not include it in the 55-56 parts book.

New Feature: Upcoming Events

On the main menu, you will now see an "Upcoming Events" option and, on the lower right, a new info block:




Which displays upcoming (future) Packard-related events.

Using the main menu link, you can view all the events and also submit new ones. This is really meant for Packard-related events such as National/Regional Meets, Rallies, Regional Tours, Shows, Concours, etc., but NOT events such as local regular car shows, cruise nights, etc, which are more general.

"This is the instruction sheet that was included with a manual antenna PA469392. These instructions are identical for both 55th and 56th series, and are duplicated in the service manual. See also the 1955-1956 Antenna Cutting Template if upgrading from a manual antenna to a power one, or if installing an antenna on an NOS fender."

"This is the template included in the box for the manual and power front fender antennas for the V8 cars. This is intended to be printed on a landscape sheet of 11x17 inch paper, or A3 paper. Important: ensure that the straight line above the writing "HOOD OPENING" is 5-5/8" long. If not, take 5.625 divided by the actual number, and adjust your printer scaling accordingly. Reprint and recheck. In other words, if the actual line is 4-3/32" long, then you should set your printer scaling to 137% to make that line be 5-5/8". For reference, the overall height of the template including whitespace is approximately 11".

If you have this file printed at a print shop, you should inform them that the image is 500 pixels per inch. It should automatically be the correct size, then."
