Hi
Four east coast choices for your consideration: A '41 Custom Super 180 1907 touring sedan project, finish it up, have one great Packard: newjersey.craigslist.org/cto/4913990126.html A '46 Custom Super Clipper, discussed here before, excellent car, surprising its still available: cnj.craigslist.org/cto/4941900865.html A '47 Clipper Six, looks good, 38K miles, driver condition: newyork.craigslist.org/que/cto/4945363959.html A '48 Custom Eight sedan in this group, check it out: nh.craigslist.org/cto/4940475164.html Steve PS: Rusty, typically '51 Mayfair hardtops don't sell for that much but if its truly a 20K mile original and checks out in all respects, it comes as close to their asking price as any would. Looks to be a real gem to me. Not to knock 200 sedans but their very ubiquity works against their commanding higher prices. The flip side is they can be a real bargain for a very good car.

Hi
If you can wait until May 17th, the '48 Custom Eight in this current CL posting: nh.craigslist.org/cto/4940475164.html ....will up for auction at Brookline, New Hampshire: auctionzip.com/cgi-bin/auctionview.cgi?l ... xSearchCategory=4&txtSearchRadius=0 Better check it out, it might be a decent car and sell for a cheap price. The 35 120 Sedan is a very nice looking car. I wonder if the interior and engine compartment are as nice? Noticed that the license plate bracket is on the RH tail light. Should it not be on the LH side? Paint the wheels body or another dark color and you are set. (o{}o)

Regarding the '35 120, seems there might also be a little mild "customising" going on with the bumpers both front and back. Sorry if I've made a mistake, but I'm sure you guys will set me straight!

At Salado last year we were fortunate to have among the 120s a '35, '36, '37 and '38. Here is a photo of the 120A Touring Sedan. The other photo is one of the '36 120B and '37 120C with the '38 Eight in the background. I notice the 120A has the Goddess of Speed ornament and the license plate bracket on the LH tail light. Me thinks the CL 120A is pretty much authentic except as noted in previous post.

I'm a bit surprised to see a 55 Caribbean right here in my home state that I was unaware of. I'd say it's a bit overpriced; I know first-hand what it takes to get a Carib convertible into a reliable car for touring and presentable in appearance. If you want professional-quality work which a Caribbean deserves, that one could swallow $100,000 to get there unless you're a very talented individual and ready to commit to a lengthy project. I suspect we've all seen other 55/56 convertibles in far better condition for almost the same $.
Re JW's comment about the hood ornament on the 120A (#951 in this thread), the original standard ornament was a unique one-year-only item; 35 120s are uncommon enough as it is, even more so with the correct original ornament.
