Boot fasteners?

Have my '39 Super 8 going to the upholstery guys in a week (getting touch-up at the paint shop now) and besides new carpeting and rebuilding the bottom cushion drivers seat - which is taking out the old foam and putting seat springs back - They are also doing the boot for the top. Does anyone know what kind of fasteners for the boot were used in 1939? They didn't know and suggested calling LeBaron Bonney which I just did and they said they didn't know what Packard used as they cover Ford and Chevy pretty much only.

Thanks,

Steve
