For a 1903, the rim width is 4.50"

Just measured the spare rims I have in my garage. Just as you measure the wheel diameter at the bottom of the BEAD of the tire, so to must you measure rim width at the BEAD. At the bottom, the measurement is 4.5". At maximum rim width it is 5.75". And at 5.0" you find that measurement just at mid-radius of the rounded edge of the rim.

These are not the easiest to find. If you are thinking about using the alternate 15", the common post war 15" ones are too fat to fit in fender wells. Yet another bit learned the hard way.

The Packard part # for that wheel is 338700, fits 40-41 senior cars 160/180 and it is 16" X 5" rim width between the flanges.
