Howdy! Long time no see haha. This will be my blog for my travels and experience with my new '51. It is the first car I've purchased with my own income, and one I'll most likely have the rest of my life. It's currently serving as my daily driver. It's in very decent driver shape, no rot, excellent floors, trunk, etc. I hope y'all enjoy the photos and following me in my adventures! Also, notice the car has no paint nor trim codes on the vin tag. Does anyone know why? I can't find any information pertaining to it.

A 51 300 is a fine driving and reliable car. Good choice. Trim and paint codes were only ink stamped in those years and the slightest cleaning effort on the plate will remove them. I think I see the remains of your trim code.

Deven,
for including your '51 300 Touring Sedan in the Registry. Can't imagine why you have such a big smile on your face.

Worked a little on the '51 this past week. Changed the spark plugs, rotor, and cap. The points and condenser were new, so I left them. Also installed a new exhaust deflector and put a new set of floor mats from Kanter in! The old rotor was pretty rough. I have no clue how it was running while bent like that. It's the original delco-remy rotor. Finally, I took it on a short cruise since yesterday's rain washed the salt off the road. Performed amazingly and it's ready for daily driver season!

Nice to see a young man with appreciation of a fine old Packard. Good luck with your continuing improvements to keep it dependable and enjoyable. Nothing like an easy drive on uncrowded country roads just enjoying the scenery and the feel of driving your Packard, is there?

Proud 1953 Clipper Deluxe owner. Thinking about my next Packard, want a Clipper Deluxe Eight, manual shift with overdrive.
