Looking for history

Does anyone recognize this car? I just purchased it from a gentleman in Wyoming did not have it very long. He bought it from a gentleman in Oklahoma. I won't be selling, maybe my heirs will. I'd like to get some history put together on this car.

Thanks; Dave

G'day Dave O,

Has a previous owner listed it in the Packard Vehicle Registry? If yes, that might provide a starting point. If no, then how about including it in the Packard Vehicle Registry?

Send a PM to Owen_Dyneto including the Theft Proof Number, VN Number and Engine Number. There's a slim chance he might have something on it on his database.

Another starting point might be PAC's Roster Keeper for 22nd-23rd Series Packards, see below.

Apart from those, unless previous owner/s have passed down a "paper trail" probably a slim to no chance of knowing the history

No listing from him. I do have the name of the gentleman from Oklahoma. I thought I'd call him as well. It's a pretty nice car, I was just hoping someone might see the pic's and remember the car at a Packard event or something. Yes; It's a long shot.

That's a beautiful car. I'm sure we'd all love to see more pictures of it. I've always loved the deep Packard Blue, especially on the 48-50's.

Good luck on finding the history of it!

Thank you. It has not been transported yet so I am looking forward to seeing to. That color was always my very favorite 40's Packard color. Kind of a royal Blue. I'll attach a few more pictures for you.

The internet can be a wonderful place. So far. By looking at this photo I've now tracked it to Spokane WA. The photo was taken about 2011 found it on the internet. Owner David A Schmick. It must be the same car. I can't believe there are two this color and wire wheels.

looks like the car is with other Packards at a car show? Is there a Packard Club in the area/region which might have members who know/remember the car?
