Hi All. We are rebuilding the 282 motor from my 1936 120B Convertible coupe. Everything in the motor is new thanks to Kanter but we have a problem with the front damper. It was obviously seized on the pulley snout. We have finally removed the damper part but it looks like the rubber that we can see around the edge is disintegrating. We now have no one in New Zealand that rebuilds dampers so wondering if there is anything we can do ourselves. Photos attached. Cheers Mal

Hi, anyone know what is used as replacement damper (harmonic balancer)when a Packard 120 engine is rebuilt? Mine is seized and no one in NZ can rebuild it.

Malcomb - so sorry for the delay, I can read that you are stressed about this. I have 2 used units that appear to be "good". No reason to think otherwise. I have a couple things to ship to SteveT in the next week, I can add one or both the package? PM my your phone number and I can call you do discuss.
My apologies for the delay, I got distracted and didn't get out to my parts to confirm available until just this moment.
