Packard parts in Europe

Hello to all Packard enthusiasts!
My first post here so I am a bit stressed.
Please forgive me my poor English.
I recently acquired a 1951 Packard 200 that had been sitting for about 55 years.
First thing to check was / is the engine.
I was very surprised that the engine had not seized up however, a few exhaust valves were stuck in the guides. So I took the manifolds and valve covers of to get to the valves. Free'd the valves.
The question is, where can I find new gaskets for the different components?
Tried " Kanter " but got no reaction what so ever. Send them an e-mail and an order form. Have been waiting for a week now so I am (very)disappointed.
Tried "Rockauto" but they do not have the gaskets.
Any suggestions?
I live in Belgium / Flanders so Packards are rather unique over here, let alone finding spare parts.
Thank you all for any tips!
Greetings from Flanders

Have you tried Max Merritt? They are the other large Packard vendor.

Olson’s Gaskets sells individual gaskets or complete kits and they were very nice, friendly and easy to deal with. They can also make custom gaskets so I’ve added a few to their inventory that they did not have before. Give them a try and tel them that Don Pierson sent you!

Hi Westieman, welcome to PackardInfo.com!
How about trying to get in contact to another Packard owners in Belgium. The following contributed to PackardInfo during the last months:

-> BBLBBL, located in Opwijk

-> Clement

-> MarcVH, who lives in Grobbendonk

-> V8powredMantis from Antwerp

It could very well be that -> John (JWL), who sold his yellow 1937 Six Convertible Coupe -> to Belgium maintains the contact to the Belgium owner.
Last but not least the Canadian ->Brian (BDeB) comes to my mind, who has relatives in your home country.

And you might also contact Packard Club Belgium, a region of the Packard Club, and inquire as to how their members are sourcing parts from the US.

Hello to all !
Found the gaskets locally !
I wanted the engine running before going any further.
Unblocked a few exhaust valves and put it all back together. Checked for oil in the engine and Ultramatic, cleaned the breaker points and spark plugs.
Guess what, after filling the carb trough the filter hole it fired up instantly !
Unbelievable ! After being at rest since 1965.
What's more is that the gearbox works as well !
Would like to post a video of this magic moment but that did not work out well.
Any suggestions on how to post a video ?

I believe the easiest and maybe only way to have a video available on the forum is post your video to YouTube or maybe one of the other video services that has a free to view option and does not require any viewer log in. Once your video is posted then provide a link to that video in one of your regular posts on the forum.
