Is anyone making or does someone have a good used front floor mat for 1951? This is the ribbed full width mat, not the individual carpet protector type.

Not aware of any new exact replacements or used ones available but you can get rubber matting that might do the job from Restoration Specialties--https://restorationstuff.com or
Metro Moulded Parts--https://metrommp.com
Some Packard rubber floor mats I have seen have vertical stripes and that type of matting may be available. The rubber matting in my car has a pattern like looped carpeting and although that type of rubber matting was previously available I have not seen any lately. If you are unable to find the looped carpeting like type of rubber mat, perhaps a matching color (black?) looped carpeting might be the most authentic looking replacement.

Thank you and I had thought of those things but the factory mats have non-ribbed borders that can’t be done using a sheet of rubber and I am not keen on sticking in non-authentic bits such as carpet even as a last resort.

Thank you, Ernie! I didn’t think they ever made anything so large but I’ll ask.
