Bought from an old closed up gear shop, this Packard pumpkin was in my Dodge lot. All the differentials in the lot were rebuilt some time ago (40 yrs) and this one still has all the nuts staked and a hardened orange paste on the ring and pinion. Unit is stiff but turns, didnt do anything to it but oil bearings to turn pinion and clean the case of peeling black paint. It has a casting number on the case as 403121 and has the correct 4.1 ring gear for an overdrive. I want to sell it but have no idea what its worth but I need to determine what the range of years this differential was used for. The ring gear has a 3-49 stamp on it if that helps. Thanks for any info.Resized ImageResized ImageResized Image
