I used the 'Air Tool Oil' from NAPA. I inserted a vacuum line from the w/w motor into the bottle of oil and worked the w/w's back and forth (this motion sucked the oil into the chamber and lubricated the seals. I let it sit overnight and in the morning, they were going like crazy.

Another good choice for a lubricant is a vacuum motor oil such as Mobil's. If your wiper motor is of the era where the paddle seal is leather, neatsfoot oil is also a good choice and any mineral oil-based lubricant would be a poor choice.

I'm not sure what the paddle material is- could be leather.

Hi ,i used silicone grease ,and then used permatex liquid gasket in leiu of a rebuild kit ,worked great
