To continue the connector discussion here instead of messing up 46 deluxe's tail light question any more:

One relatively low cost modern option for the Wade connectors is the GM 56 series. Google and you will find any number of places selling them -- including at least one place that has housing shells holding up to 4 terminals for individual circuits. If you have an Auveco dealer locally they may have or can get them as well. Good for single circuits but still an issue with the places that have 3 or 4 connections all on the same circuit such as the courtesy lights and a couple of others.

Obviously the downside is you would have to change both wire sides again and they wouldn't be authentic. Still maybe an option if you have to replace very many of those single connectors that are giving grief and you don't want to replace them at $4 a pop.
