I am hooking up the rebuilt carb in my 36 120. I took off the gas fitting to turn it. A small triangular brass part fell out of the fitting. Which way does it go back in?? Pointy end toward the carb or away???? Need an answer ASAP please!!!

Thank you

pointy end towards the outside of the carburetor. This is the needle and seat, and you should be able to confirm that it seats very nicely. when the float goes down, it allows the needle to retract and allow fuel flow from the inlet.
