See !! There ya go.......people are here to support you. Can't go wrong here. We ALL want to see you succeed with your "new" Packard. Probably your most inexpensive "conversion" would be to measure your wheel base, find a matching driving donar and swap the body to that chassis. I'm thinking your in the 130 inch plus wheel base and most of your pickup trucks are 130+. It would be an easy swap and put you on the road 10 times quicker. Just sayin.........

I will definitely start a project blog once I get rolling on it. Got a few things to wrap up off the honey-do list first. I've got the beast into the garage and on dollies now, it was like manuvering a battleship around! The more I sit and look at it I'm leaning towards finding like a 2wd Suburban and swapping the body over I agree it would be much quicker. Won't have to deal with nearly as much and be on the road sooner! Time to start looking for a donor, wifes going love hearing that!
