Flash forward to 2012 and Mercedes has gone stale. BMW is still strong but it is Audi that is the hot new commodity.

With this car Bugatti will move and shake the way Packard once did. Car companies would do well to study the history of Packard, Pierce-Arrow and others. The lessons are very much relevant today.
