Sadly this may be the same moron who was featured in Hemmings a few years back who destroyed another classic Packard in a similar manner. Ifthis was indeed an original car then this "crime" is something akin to painting a moustache on the Mona Lisa. On a list of the worlds greatest atrocities it doesn't quite rank with the burning of the library at Alexandria or the one at Louvrain in WW1 but surely it is a close runner up. A pox on the owner for such a desecration of an irreplaceable masterpiece of rolling art (if it is original, if not my sincerest apology).
