Does anyone here know if Dave at Seattle Packard is ill, in the hospital, deceased, deployed, on a lengthy vacation, or otherwise incapacitated?

I've done both with no response. I would like to find out if he is injured, sick, or deployed before I discuss my transaction with him any further. Right now I'm a little concerned and a little aggravated. If I don't hear anything I'll post a full review with pictures a little later.

I tried getting ahold of him last year following the Frederick, MD. swap meet, as I was looking for wire clips for a trunk light on my Clipper and someone there had suggested that Packard Seattle would likely have them. I repeatedly tried contacting him to no avail, so I just gave up.

UPDATE::
Dave Moe just called me. He apologized for taking so long to get back with me and said he was at a new job working about 75 hours a week and not getting home until about 9PM. Since I'm on EDT and he is on Pacific Time he didn't call. I'll accept that on face value. He offered to let me send back the two items and to "make it right". I'll get that stuff off to him this week and update this again when I get a refund. He said he is trying to get caught up on past phone and e-mail messages now. Hopefully, all will be well.

That's certainly good news with so much money involved. Hopefully it will all be resolved favorably soon.

David Moe has always gotten back to me in a couple of days. One thing to remember is that Seattle Packards is his "side business" and he still works a regular day job. Much like me with the website, some days the "real world" consumes all your time, and you have nothing left at the end of the day for side ventures.

I accept that fact but even in a "side business" 5 to 6 weeks without communication when there are a few hundred dollars at stake is a long time. That is why I waited so long to post my concerns to this site. I'm just glad he contacted me and will trust that he follows through. Gene
