Does anyone else like this example?

I don't really like it being a six, wish it were an eight but there is something about these models that I like with the blackwalls. It seems more like it would have been back in the day. I know you all know more but were the more expensive models more likely to have whitewalls back then? Also, I think it's priced a little too high. I've been watching auctions and prices for awhile now and I would think that car is more in $12K-$14K range--but what do I know! :)

Given the exceptional original condition, the asking price is not unreasonable.

Although "it's only original once" some judicious attention to replacing the floor mat and the delaminating quarter windows would improve and protect the car rather than detract from it.

Thanks Mal, I did get the numbers. I've done very well on number lately, thanks in part to BDeB who sent me about a dozen - closing in on 2300 sets.
I'm more of a senior car guy and really not a fan of the 110s; many consider that the 110 was a necessity for survival in the 30s - maybe so but also they were in part responsible for lowering Packard's prestige as a luxury car, not a model that added to their reputation but rather one that subtracted from it. But that said, that is one lovely little car I think it's worth the asking price due to it's amazing originality. I do respect those carefully preserved original cars - were I looking for another car, I'd consider it.

Good looking car. I like the blackwalls. Alot of the old photos from the 40's show the jr cars with blackwalls.

A very nice 115C Touring Sedan. It looks like it even has its original tire changing tool pouch. Someone is going to get a great unrestored Packard Six.

I just put a bid on the car, don't know what the reserve cost is but since the cost is so low a few K's will pick things up and perhaps we'll see what the reserve is. Probably can't afford the reserve anyway. Hope my wife doesn't see this
