anyone good in the DFW area, i can't really seem to find anything and i don't really feel like paying freight shipping to get it to a place that does this kind of work in another state.

i didn't see the DIY, but 500 a day seems a bit stiff.
seems like it would be 500 to do all the stainless on my car, but what do i know. most of my stuff is straight, just a couple pieces are really mangled. Hank

I dont know if they are the same people or not but their adress says goodmark. I purchased an aftermarket chrome grille for my 1964 chevy pickup from goodmark, the plating was so bad i sent it back, and they sent me another one with plating just as bad. I was so frustrated i gave up and got my money back and put the original painted grille back on the truck

As they say, you (often) get what you pay for. Quality varies, 'Rechrome' isn't binary (as in 'Rechrome'=great). If you're really fussy, you might go to a car show and talk with guys whose cars have been rechromed and get some first hand recs.
There are also a lot of advertisers in Hemmings, you might give them a call, too.
