Well some of you may have noticed that the website has now been moved to a Virtual Dedicated server. This gives up our own dedicated server space, and we dont have to share a server like we did before. This should elminate those pesky "Server 500" errors! (Fingers crossed)

When you make a domain change, it can take up to 48hrs for that domain to propogate across all the internet name servers. Once this happens, then the IP address you see in your address bar will be replaced with the familiar "packardinfo.com" address.

I am pretty sure (finger crossed again) that I got everything moved over and back in place. The chat probably wont be working until all the domain changes have finished. If you see something not working like before, then just let me know thanks.

More details coming soon once I finished getting everything bolted down.

Well it looks like everything has propagated. Everything looks to be up and functional, including Chat. If anyone sees any problems, then please let me know ASAP.

So far it looks like the website is staying pretty speedy, as I have not experience those odd slow downs and "500 Errors".

You have injected some youth into my PC with the new speed that I am able to pull up info, kinda like you gave it some Viagra.LOL

Kev, I've never seen speeds like this before. The pages appear before I hit the clicker. Before I would click on a forum and go have a cup of coffee. Great work.

Thanks! I am glad to hear people are seeing the same speeds I am! This server had better be fast based on what the monthly fees are for it! My car resto budget took a hit as I had to diverted some funds from it to help cover the costs of the new server hosting.

Oh well....you only live once, and the Clipper hasnt complained yet. Everything in time.

Problem fixed. You must have posted those as I was moving all the pictures from the other server (2+ gigs worth of pics). So like two ships passing in the night, we missed each other.

So I just copied all the picss from 8/17+ back from the old server. So now we should have everything, and your pictures now show up!

Packard Directory section, Member Directory?
Maybe this is one of the domain-related issues that will rebuild itself in 48-hour, but ...
Just roamin' around I noticed on the Member Directory title page it indicates (8) listings, but pulls up only 3 listings when I go there.
It seems that some new member listings from the last few months are missing.

When I view my personal account, a Member Directory link is still there. But when I click on it, I am taken (very fast) to the 'new entry' page like I am not listed.

You still the Man!!!

There is an issue with the Directory Module. It appears that it is not PHP 5.X friendly. The old version ran 4.x. So I need to either find an upgraded version of this module, or just write my own like I have done with many of the other pieces here. All the data is intact. So I just disabled that module until I can get it sorted out.
