I haven't been on this site for what seems like such a long while.
i bought my '52 in july of 2011. this is the most fun i have ever had. i have been busy since i bought my car getting ready to build a proper garage or shop. i've spent a lot of time just preparing to do this. yard and ground prep. moving fences etc. saving $. etc.
so in the middle of january i'm working getting ready for a concrete guy i know form work to come for an estimate and i fall and break my arm above my elbow and tear my shoulder joint up. wow.
so all work has stopped, i'm recovering & hoping i won't need surgery. now alll the medical bills are coming in.

Oh well life never goes as planned. another lesson in patience. My goal for a shop is very important to me because i live in such a moist climate.
i have to keep my focus!!! i keep my car running as best i can..... i have been advised by family and friends to sell it, but i don't want to yet.but if i have to it won't be the endof the world . and i can always find another when things settle down
this site is so great and invaluable to the hobbiest.

Take care of yourself first and get healthy again, then the rest will come to you.

thanks. went for a short drive today. wow. very hard to drive these old cars with one arm.

i also wanted to post some pics . i have been trying to learn how to reduce the size of my pics for posting to this site. i thought i figurred it out , but no luck. will try again. this subject is mentioned in the general forum. i will have to do more research. i like it when we post pics of out cars.

BigKev posted a really neat program that will reduce the size of the pics for you. Try it. I use it all the time! Image resizing tool
