G'day Gary,
to PackardInfo. Is the pin the one in the third picture in this post from my Mal's '41 120 Coupe Blog? Plus, I invite you to include your '41 110 in the Packard Owner's Registry here on PackardInfo!

I've worked on rebuilding Safe-T-FleX front suspensions on a 1941 and other Packards with the same suspension. Too long ago to remember the details but other than a kingpin ream, jacks and jackstands, no special tools required though having them may make the job easier. If you intend to remove the springs to have the shocks rebuilt, exercise CAUTION - lot's of stored energy in them. Others who have more recently removed front springs will have some more recent memories and advise, I'm sure.
