Just wanted to say what a GRAND time I had in Pontiac. Too bad I could only make it for a portion of the week, but I left with a smile on my face!

Agreed Jeff, it was a fine event. Fortunately I was able to stay for the entire week.

Hello All:

Glad to hear from those that attended that they had a good time in the Motor Cities. Some of you have asked for a list of those that won awards at the 2013 PAC National Meet. That list is attached as a PDF file.

As you read through the award listings please remember that the cars are NOT judged against one another for a class ranking. Instead the cars are judged against a point standard for quality of restoration or preservation. I do not have the point scores - that is between the judging staff and the owner of the car.

I have attached a few photos for your review. Full coverage of the Meet can be read in a forthcoming edition of the Cormorant News Bulletin and/or your PAC regional publication.

HHmmmm...

for one reason or another the third photo I wanted to show you would not fit on my earlier post. So let's try to show George Holinga's 1954 convertible here.

Double Hmmmmmmmmmmm.... Why won't it show? It is a 116 KB jpeg sized file, 600X346 and it continually won't let me post it.

Hello Big Kev. I would like to show the Best in Show - Post-War winner.

I thought I saw 3 photos, bottom one a Caribbean in your post when I first looked earlier. Coming back on site, now it's gone. Maybe some strange character in the name the site didn't like??

It is fitting that the winning car photo is shown driving through the famous gates of the Packard Proving Grounds.

Actually, Holinga's 1954 is a very red convertible, not a Caribbean. There is also a photo of it going thru the PPG gate in the earlier posting with the 250+ photos.

Yikes!!! I better fix that.

I will cancel or edit my previous posts and get the proper photo up ASAP

Dang it! Now failing again to post the winner here. It has failed to take more that 4 times now. Go to the link above to see the car coming through the front gates of the PPG.
