1941 110 Coupe.

What do you guys do for replacements? I spoke with Aveco and a couple others. All bolts on my car were pretty friendly. The frame to body not so much, and I'd say about half just broke. I guess I'm glad to replace. Any place to get them?

Seem sort of like a couple inches and a dog point of sorts, but that's just a wag.

Packard used little captive wing things with the body bolts which shouldn't be tightened more than say 25-30 ftlbs.

Thus you need only use regular grade bolts and a 3/8's ratchet.

Little captive wing things are a teardrop stamping that the nut is pressed into so that when the bolt is tightened the interference eliminates the need for a second person to hold the nut. If I was less than scrupulous I would have one around here that I didn't put back on a car. As such, you'll have to crawl under an original car to see what I am talking about.
