Doc, My 50 Standard 8 came to me with an exterior sun visor. It has the manufacturer's name "Fulton Sun Shield Company" on the round end caps. I don't know what particular model number that it is. You can see the car if you select the link at the bottom of any of my posts. I hope this helps.

The Fulton is a popular period aftermarket visor. The factory one curves around and attaches to the drain lip, no hinge and circle pivot

Guys,
I am very interested in how the sun visor is actually fastened to the cars. I have one for my 49 Super, but am afraid to put it on. There is a bracket in the center of the windshield and there were holes in the rain gutter on the sides to fasten it to, but that doesn't look like it is substantial enough for the big sun shade. Does anyone have a picture? John From KC
