I added some code to the website so now that everytime someone sends you a PM here on the website, you will get a email notification letting you know of that. This only works if you have "Receive Email Notifications" enabled in your User profile, which I think is on by default.
I know sometimes people can go awhile without checking the website, and this will at least let people know they are trying to be contacted.

when i first started had that, but my phone went nuts, so turned it off.

There are various notifications you can "subscribe" to on the forum here. One of those is to get a notification on every new post. If you do that, you will get messages 24/7. I suggest you leave that off, and only subscribe to specific threads/posts you want to track.
For example, I ONLY subscribe to posts that are made on my Project Blog. thread.
