I picked up a reprint 39 Eight Owners Manual at the LA Packard show last weekend. The price was good, but the reproduction was really poor. I have an owners manual that came with the car but the previous owner underlined items and made notes all over it. It is a reproduction, but is a much better quality. Any suggestions as to where to get a good copy?

On a related item, I bought a nice copy of the Packard service letters, 14th thru 20th. It is a real treasure trove. I just need to create an index for it so I can find the article I'm needing at the moment.

How much does a reprint cost nowadays?

Generally their repros have been decent quality. Kanter also has repros. Regress press also has reprints of brochures and other assorted sales type foldersregresspress.com/automobile/catalog-reprints/.

I'll try Faxon. I've had good luck with them in the past. A reprint is $24. I paid $15 for the rough copy, so I guess I got what I paid for....It will be a good one to keep in the garage for reference. Regress is another fun vendor. I've gotten some stuff from them for both my Packards as well as Peugeots.

How much does a clean original one go for?
