Hi... I was hoping maybe somebody might know the diameter of the rear wheel cylinders on a 1953 Cavalier. I want to try and find something at a local parts store - without taking the wheel cylinders apart. I was successful with the front cylinders at 1 1/8" But I'm not sure about the back ones. is it 15/16" ? I'm not sure

All 53's except commercial chassis used 1-1/8" fronts and 1" rears according to the 26th series mechanical specs listed in Nov 52 Service Counselor Vol 26 #11.

If you need to find any specs on a model, it is generally listed in a counselor issued around model introduction time. A few times they were late or might have changed something shortly after a car was announced and shipped but not often. Most counselors are available for download here on site.
