Gas tanks for 22nd/23rd series are not in reproduction though if you search around this forum a bit you'll find some info on modifying an available repro tank, from a Chevrolet as I recall.

I would suggest taking it by your local radiator shop. I suspect that they would have no problem repairing the tank as long as the pin holes are not too major. The good news is that you can get to the inside to inspect it! I've used Max's gas tank liner on several of my Packards with great success. Try going by Napa to see about a float - there are a number of generic versions that will work. If you can't find one there, try Chevy's of the 40's or Mac's Model A parts. They sell brass ones that should work.

Another option. The tank for a 39 120 is the same as the 48-50 tanks except for the filler tube. If you can find a prewar model, you (using a radiator shop) could modify it. But as many 48-50 Packards that are lurking around in the junkyards, you should be able to find one that is in better shape than yours.
