Gerd, Again the depth of your research is remarkable. This is compounded by the difficulties, not to mention time and effort you've spent, in the task of translation. And, your doorway to Yaroslavl is another insight into the "Cultural Revolution" to borrow a phrase.

Gerd, I grew up at a time when tyre pressures were measured in psi here and that's the one I still use even though Oz converted to Metrics over 30 years ago. So your 2.5 & 3.5 convert to 35 & 50 psi approximately. to your handy plug in table! The era of "attentive view and a bit of spit..." I did use at one stage in my boyhood for inflation of bicycle tyres too. From the close up pic's of the wheels and tyres it's obvious to see the heavy duty componentry used. Attach file: (22.96 KB)

I've not heard that the Father Divine Duesenberg survived, but I suppose it could be hidden away in some garage in Philadelphia, Duesenbergs have a VERY high survival rate. Brings to mind Mr. Leno's recent "find" of a Duesenberg which some of you may have read about recently.

Goscha: I have always have some doubts about the so-called early accomplishments of the manned space program of the Soviet Union, they were faked.
