Billy, A new member from Sao Paulo City, Brazil entered the request below in the Chatroom earlier. He was still there when I saw it and I chatted to him about posting in the Forum but so far he hasn't done so. I'll PM and tell him what I've done. In the meantime if anyone can help he'd be appreciative, as he's trying to find information for a friend of his who is interested in buying the Rollson.

I?m looking for some informations about Packard Rollson 1940; it is suposed to be a A/W, Panel Brougham, Style 1665, Body number 674. Searching internet, could not find anything about it. This car is been offered for sale down here.

There's a picture of a 1938 AND a 1940 panel brougham in Hugo Pfau's book. What kind of information is he looking for? Does he know if it's a Super Eight or a Junior?

Rollson (and previously Rollston) did a modest number of panel broughams in that era, often using the 120 chassis or the shorter 160 chassis (127" wb). The Rollson company still survives (out in Long Island, NY) and has not turned their old records over to any museum so you might consider contacting them (Rudy Creteur Jr.) to see if they'd be willing do dig out the records for car #674.

Rollson is still in business - closed it's current factory - but did not dissolve. It is very much still in existence.
