I was wondering what are the differences between 1947 clipper and super clipper

We'll start with the easiest to identify. The '47 Clipper can be either a Clipper Six Series 2100 or a Clipper Eight Deluxe Series 2111. Both share the same 120" wb chassis, the Six engine a 245 ci; the Eight Deluxe the 282 ci straight eight.

The Super Clipper came in two flavors. The Super Clipper Series 2103 and the Custom Super Clipper Series 2106 both share the 127" wb chassis and are powered by the magnificent 356 ci nine main bearing straight eight. Sumptuousness of interior and exterior trim details elevates the Custom.

The Clipper body shell is shared by all series, wheelbase difference is readily observable. The additional seven inch longer front fender and hood length of the Super models giving more impressive proportions.

Others will chime in with further details for each but these are the basics.

On the interior the super Clipper has a headliner with transverse seams like the regular Clippers while the Custom Super has longitudinal bows and front to back seams.

In addition to what others have said: Custom has chrome plated steering column and hand brake lever. Also, door window garnish molding wood graining represents multiple species. Wheel cover centers are cloisonn?.
