OK, I know that this is probably the wrong place to mention this, but I had to put it somewhere (don't tell me where
 ). Anyway, Mecum is holding an auction next weekend in Denver, CO. Since I've had little response to my various attempts to sell my '50 Standard 8 Touring Sedan, I've entered the car in the auction (Lot #295) here:

Well, Ms. Hattie has been sold, and I will miss her very much. She has given us, and those that have seen her, a lot of joy. I know that the new owners will experience similar joy, and wish them the best of times.
The car sold for $17,500.00 at the auction. I felt that she was well sorted and detailed so that I think that she was one of the most beautiful cars at the auction.
