Here is my pedal smoothed out and painted.

I just used some extra paint I had from in the garage.

A really light green and semi gloss black, lightly oversprayed several times and clear coated.
(It is pretty close to the color that was factory.)

These pics the paint had picked up a lot of the suns highlights and glares but, it looks more even when in person.

I presume you'll have to change out the front flex lines because there's no "banjo fitting" on the original. Or did the conversion come with a pair?

No they did not come with it.

I did buy new lines some time ago that are still in the package, I did open one the other day and came to find they will work with a relaxing reach although I will need an adapter from caliper to hose and add In a cushion clamp.
Them hoses I have are from Autozone and I did a bit of research on them for the psi and found that they are tested for 4500 psi. So those will be good to go.

I'd prefer to go with a bango fitting rather than a 90 deg. fitting as the wilwood steel line kit offers for multiple reasons. One of most is the space between the caliper and the spinal mounting arm and who knows where the snugness of a 90deg. Would end sitting at.
(possible an awkward position)

I'll get back on that due to my van needing a fuel pump so she got the well needed the attention...

Craig

I took a look on your web site and I see that you have a segment with Packard Paul.

I know him from when I lived in Las Vegas, he is the one that told me about the front wheel conversion from Ford trucks and how to do it.
Although after some searching I just went with the wilwood conversion.

He has some interesting stories on how he came upon the 56 Executive back in 63'.
Also of how he configured his push button trans shift with hydrolic's from a plane, as he was an Air Force mechanic. To even have this knowledge he has is amazing.

A good man I'm glad I met him and spent time chatting with him.

How did your conversion work out? I plan to do something similar on my 53 Patrician but use a universal hanging pedal assembly. Just got the car, haven't looked up under the dash yet. I also plan to do front disc brakes.
