Just wondering I can only imagine that these are very difficult to obtain! The owner said that Kanter at one time had them listed in there catalog, but were really just waiting for enough orders to warrant having them made. They never did.
I'm already paying probably more than the car is worth, but there such a beautiful car!!! There's only two currently for sale.
Anyway thanks for any help (I'm a newbie here & to Packard ownership if the sale goes thru!)

Dwight Heinmuller has them for the 42 Clipper, I don't know what the difference (if any) might be but perhaps you should ask him.

And, if or more hopefully when you purchase the '41 Clipper, I invite you to include it with or without outside mirror in the Packard Owner's Registry.

We have never listed items in our catalog for pre order prior to the production or used customer funds to finance a project. We have had 41 -up Clipper and 22nd series mirrors in our parts list for well over 15 years. I am sorry that the owner of the vehicle you are looking at has given you miss information about our product lines and the workings of our company.

If there is anything that I can answer for you about our product lines please let me know.
