Sorry, can't help directly but it would be unusual if the locations of the various controls were not identified in the owner's manual.

Google 1932 Packard dashboard. It will show a nice dashboard with two of the switches like the one you posted mounted in both of the left holes, and the starter button in the upper hole on the right (although it's not supposed to have a starter button, so I think the hole in the upper right is not supposed to be there.)

Marty,
You should have two switches, like the one shown in your picture. They go in the two green holes. The top one turns on the map light, that should be mounted under the dash rail, right above the gas gauge. The other, lower switch turns on the lights for the instruments, only when the parking or headlights are turned on. The choke goes in the red hole. The blue hole is not original, someone drilled it in the dash. There is no throttle on the dash, only on the steering wheel. The Jaeger clock is well built. It does not tolerate over winding, and will lock up. The only fix I've done on them is to replace the main balance wheel with one from an earlier (oval) Jaeger Packard clock. The Northeast speedometer magnet is subject to loss of force. On mine I had to re-magnetize the magnet to get it to read correctly. Hope this helps. Dave

Thanks for all of your suggestions and inputs. As mentioned in some of my earlier requests for assistance, I took over this restoration from another person and that the car's intake had been converted to a downdraft carburetor. It has an automatic choke.
Going through all of my boxes of goodies I found two cables (22" and 34" long) and 1 switch to fill 4 holes. I saw the area for the map light, but did not find one. And that's what led me to pose my question. Based on your inputs and poring over PackardInfo & Google photos (Couldn't find an Owner's Manual) here is what I'm going to try to accomplish. Try to find 2 switches like I already have or 1 switch and a starter button. If I can't find any, I'll buy new ones that I can make a bezel and knob that look like the one posted above. I'll install the shorter cable for a throttle cable in the red hole (Note that the linkage on the firewall has a place for it to connect for the throttle) and ignore the connection on the steering column. I'll install 2 switches in the green holes and wire as per Dave (32model901). The blue hole will either be filled with a switch and will power lights that I'll install in the glove boxes or a starter switch that will be non-functional. The longer cable will go into my "Not To Be Used" box. If the previous had not already had the dash, and window frames wood grained or if I hadn't, I would fill the hole in. Dave did you re-magnetize the magnet or have it done by someone else? Any other thoughts are more than welcomed and are encouraged. Thanks Again

Marty,
A few more dash pictures. The brown knob at the bottom of the dash is not original. You didn't mention if you had the map light wired, so I took a few pictures showing it. The flip down cover on these is usually missing. The map light shown by itself is missing the cover. I made up a simple magnet charger fed by some charged capacitors to re-charge the speedometer magnet. Dave

Ran across this '32 on Craigs List.
Looks like it has a switch above the ignition. For the Pilot Ray? hartford.craigslist.org/wan/5452129033.html
