The Parts List shows they have the same part numbers, hence they will interchange. Having the Parts List is a great resource, if you plan on spending any significant amount of time on a car you really should purchase one, a very worthwhile investment

According to my parts manual, Manifold Assembly Exhaust 356725 fits 37 thru 40 6-cylinder cars.

After having a machine shop resurface my 1937 manifold they returned it to me broken and rewarded me with a bill for $50.00. I fortunately had another manifold. My issue is that the 2 center not sure what the correct name for them is but I have attached a photo of what I call a retainer. One photo shows that they are too wide to set down in the machined area. I plan on using washers but have not had any luck finding 3/8 " thick washers. Are most manifolds held in place by washers instead of the retainers. My thoughts are Packard probably had special retainers. Like usual suggestions are welcomed and appreciated. Thank you.

You might check with Totally Stainless on the washers.totallystainless.com IIRC Cli55er needed some extra thick and wide washer dimensions to mount his intake manifold & I believe it was that company where he bought them. I don't remember if he used a stock item or if they made them special but something meeting his needs was available.
