Does anyone know what the URL is for Joel Ray or Sandy Chirco? Want to see what packard parts they have for sale.

Also look at the Packard Directory here as alot of the Vendors are already listed there. If you find one not listed, then please add it to the list for the next guy!
Thanks,

what might be a cool addition to this website would be what is called a parts counter. on the BMW forms there is a dedicated forum where people post part numbers, etc...and representatives from the applicable vendor post back what they have and how much and if you want it you can order it from them.
of course there would have to be some sort of relationship with those vendors and this website. Packards1 could have his own parts counter right here for us all to enjoy and benefit from, etc...

I dont have a problem coding it up as long as we can get a few vendors who would like to participate. I would hate to spend the time working up all the code, and then none of the vendors want to play along.
I figured we could build it in a way that a person can request a part either by number, group or description, and then it sends an email to all the vendors who want to participate. Then they can respond back through a website link provided in the email. Then the requester would get back the quotes from the vendors on the part. Then vendors could also select if the part is a regularly stocked item, and and as such it would build automatically build a store list for that vendor that people could look through. I could also allow vendors to to manage their own product lists. This way some of the smaller vendors who dont have their own online catalogs can use it for that. Also any of the PI or PAC chapters can list their repro project parts. The website would not deal with any of the actual transactions, but just as a free service to link folks needing a part with the vendors who can supply them. As with everything here on the website, no costs or fees for any of this. All of it will be free. Comments, Questions, Ideas?

Kev, It seems like a whole lot of work for you to set this all up. You do enough now to make this such a wonderful place.
