Is that a true roadster or a convertible???? I didn't look at the pics real close. What year was the last Packard roadster????? I was thinking 1935 for the last roadster.

The body style 1099 as shown on eBay is listed on this site as a 120 Convertible Coupe. Body styles 1019 (Super Eight), and 1038 (Twelve) are listed as Coupe Roadsters.

In any case, it's a real looker.

Packard called this body style (1099) a convertible coupe. By the commonly accepted definition a roadster doesn't have roll-up windows but all car makers Packard included were occasinally free and loose with their body type descriptions.

1930 Packard

Did anyone notice the engine bay in this all original car? The carburetor does not appear to be a DL, and the vacuum tank is missing. So, what kind of carburetor is it, and did Packard actually ship any cars with that kind of set up in 1930?
