1953 Packard Mayfair
This Mayfair came into the shop March of this year. All of the Chrome, bright work and glass were removed. Then the body was stripped of all its paint and all necessary metal work was preformed. It was then treated to a fresh two-tone paint job that included a wet sand and polish to give the finish that mirror like shine. During reassembly all the weather strip was replace to ensure nice quiet and comfortable ride. This one will be leaving the shop shortly. <a href="http://s671.photobucket.com/user/JamesRFrom/media/Packard%20400/KIMG1645.jpg.html" target="_blank"><img src="http://i671.photobucket.com/albums/vv72/JamesRFrom/Packard%20400/KIMG1645.jpg" border="0" alt=" photo KIMG1645.jpg"/></a> <a href="http://s671.photobucket.com/user/JamesRFrom/media/Packard%20400/KIMG1644.jpg.html" target="_blank"><img src="http://i671.photobucket.com/albums/vv72/JamesRFrom/Packard%20400/KIMG1644.jpg" border="0" alt=" photo KIMG1644.jpg"/></a>

Hi
Thanks for the look at your shop's current work, they look great. Its the kind of place Packard dreams are made of...or even an Eldorado Brougham dreams.... Steve

Below is one of our newest cars to Kanter Auto Restoration. This Clipper was bought new by the owner and has remained in his care ever since. After a long hiatus of being off the road (about 20 years or so) the owner and his children have decided that it was about time to give this Packard some love and continue on making memory. When the car arrived at our shop we went through the routine of pulling spark plugs and turning the engine over by hand first. Then fuel system was cleaned, flushed and the original tank was replace with a brand new tank. The points we cleaned and the old car roared to life. Since then the brake system has been attended to and the Treadle Vac unit is in the process of being rebuilt. Still a long way to go but we are glad to see yet another Packard brought back to its former glory.
