I have been off of reassembling my 41 110 six engine for a while and cannot remember whether the large star washer associated with the valve spring goes under the spring on the block side or under the spring on the washer/retainer side ?

I suspect it was intended to go between the block and spring but I cannot find an exploded view of the engine showing its factory location.
I am always confident that I can remember little details of disassembly but it doesn't always turn out that way.

This is from a later engine but I doubt they would have changed that detail.
