I'm getting ready to prep the car's (1932 901) interior before sending it to be upholstered. I need to know the distance between the back of the driver's front seat at the top and steel shell that goes behind the front seat is when the seat is all the way back. Also, what the distance should be between the foot rest and the front of the back seat.

I forwarded your query to a friend who has a very lovely unmolested 503, hopefully he'll either respond directly or send me the info to post for him.

7" mark is on the edge of the fabric covered steel shell in back of the front seat.
