Chasing down an elusive electrical issue had me open up the headlight buckets. I lost ground to one of them and fixed that along with the electrical gremlin that has been bugging me

Noticed inside the headlight bucket is a bracket that I have no idea what it is for. See photo. Not a very good photo. Wires exit bucket at bottom just in front of this bracket

Anybody have any clues?

Digging through old archives in the data pages on this website, this is actually the place where the headlight wires exit the bucket , see pic
