Busy day for our Packards

It was a busy weekend for two of our Packards. Our granddaughter age 14 wanted to be driven to Homecoming Prom in our 1948 sedan. Six young adults plus several parents were impressed with the transportation. Our grandson age 16 wanted to drive our 1949 convertible to his Homecoming Prom which was 80 miles away. After a quick lesson on how a three on the tree worked and a few laps around the parking lot the grandson was off with a big smile to pick up his date and another couple and off for pictures then to the prom. I'm not sure who had more fun, me, the parents, or the teenagers.

I am not the person to ask really. I use the IrfanView program to resize and adjust the aspect of images for posting. The program is free and is pretty darn safe to the best of my knowledge. As a hint, I will save the original image and then make adjustments as needed then save the adjusted image with an identifier such as adding a .1 or .A. This identifier tells me the orginal image has been changed. I keep both images.
Hope this helps.

He is a fine young man. I was just trying to plant the Packard seed so he or one of his friends might keep the Packard name alive.
