Does anyone know if a fuel tank from a 1936 120 is correct or will fit a 1937 120? They have different numbers in the parts book.

As I recall the 36s had the fill pipe on the body near the rear fender and the 37's fill pipe exited from the fender. Not aware of any other differences.

Here is one of 1937 120C tanks on the left. The filler goes thru the left rear fender. The Fuel sending Unit is in the right hand pocket on the tanks top. The tank on the right is off a 1936 120B. The filler goes thru the left rear quarter panel. and the FSU in on the extreme right of the picture thru thru the front of the tank. I wanted to use a 37 in my 36 120B convertible sedan but it was not really feasible to to so. So I had the original tank reworked. (not the one in this photo.)

Thanks Don 37. That helps a lot. A picture speaks a 1,000 words as they say. The search continues for a '37 tank. Do you happen to still own the tank on the left? If so, is it available for purchase?
